More pictures...

3. Did you know that the World Cup is over? Italy won on a shoot-out. The German –Portugal consolation game was a better final. Anyway, here is a picture of the city center during the Germany versus Italy game. Also, here are two pictures of German and Francreich fans. Europeans love the fussball. World Cup mania...

4. This picture is of other students watching the Germany/Italy game at Paddy’s near the central train station. Felipe, who is looking at the camera, is a great guy from Costa Rica.

5. This is two young buddies from Turkei – Turkey for us Americans. However, I think we are the only ones who pronounce it Turkey, like the bird. Anyway, on the left is John and the right is Ahmed. Funny guys.

6. German custom: This is a guy who turned 30 today. The problem is that he is not married. So his friends fill the square with trash and he spends the day picking it up. He also has to kiss a woman, or several, to be released. Thank you, Lindsay!

7. Hagerty’s Pub – On my way home at night, I will stop here to play a game or two of darts. So far, I am 6-1. I have played with a Croatian, an American who moved to Germany because he broke the law, and several Bremenites, including one who worked near our house in Chicago – small world.

Have a good week. If you are keeping with the blog, sorry for the delay, but now I am back online. Tschus!

Kyle, we all know you're not in Germany. When will you finally admit you're in Alabama pursuing your dream of becoming a carnival worker? Quit finding pictures of Europe on the internet and passing them off as your own. Lots of love.
